Why 65% RH instead of 70%?
70% RH is folklore. At sustained 70% with temperatures above 73F you risk beetle hatches. 65% is the modern safe target. Boveda 65 packs are sold for this reason.
How many cigars per Boveda 320 pack?

Do I need a hygrometer?
Yes. Buy a digital hygrometer and calibrate it once with a salt test. Analog hygrometers are decorative, not accurate.
